I'm Sagar Sedhai, a QA engineer with 2+ years testing SaaS and mobile products by hand — now writing the automation to do it for me, with Playwright and JavaScript. A Master's in Cyber Security means I'm as interested in what breaks a system as what makes it work.
About
I test software for a living, and I'm teaching myself to test it faster. My background is manual QA on a SaaS platform used by insurance companies — writing test cases, filing defects in JIRA, and running performance checks in JMeter before releases went out.
Before that, I built Flutter mobile apps end to end: e-commerce, education, ticketing, and payment systems, wired up to Firebase, Django, and REST APIs. That's part of why I test the way I do — I've been on the other side, shipping the code that QA eventually catches.
A recent Master's in Cyber Security added vulnerability assessment and network security to the toolkit — OpenVAS, OWASP ZAP, Nmap — alongside hands-on IT support work configuring FortiNet firewalls and Cisco hardware. Right now I'm converting my manual test cases into Playwright scripts in JavaScript, one suite at a time.
